Natural Texture Rings: Ōtaki Beach

Service Description

This 3-hour class is held in our Ōtaki Beach studio! Using copper or brass to practice, then moving on to work in sterling silver, you'll learn to cut, heat and apply textures that mimic the textures of nature. Print feathers and dried grasses into your metal using specialised jewellery tools. It's like a magic trick! Choose your favourite texture and create a beautiful silver ring to wear away - or to gift to someone special. This class is ideal to do with a friend, and is teen friendly. Kids aged 12 and up are also welcome but must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian. All materials provided. This is a small class with a maximum of 6 students.

Cancellation Policy

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Workspace will not offer refunds or make up classes for any reason. Our classes take only between 6 and 10 students at a time and we cannot accomodate moving students between classes or offering extra classes. Please choose your class carefully.  Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times.  Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case.  By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
