Service Description
Make your own personalised ring - a gift for yourself, or a Christmas gift for someone special :-) Learn the basic technique first in copper or brass, and then craft your final piece in silver! Learn to measure your finger, cut metal to length and texture it without rolling mill, hammers and punches. Then use a jewellers torch, sandpaper and polishing, and your beautiful new ring will be ready to wear. This 3-hour class is ideal for beginners, groups of friends and visitors to the city. Included in the class fee are copper and brass for practising on, a sterling silver ring strip and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals are available for purchase in the studio. Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.

Below are the Terms & Conditions for our classes. For information on access and parking info for both studios, please visit the FAQ page on our main site. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSPACE CLASSES: We require all class fees to be paid in full before the start date of the class and any extra materials taken to be paid for at the last class. Workspace will not offer refunds or make up classes for any reason. Our classes take only between 6 and 10 students at a time and we cannot accomodate moving students between classes or offering extra classes. Please choose your class carefully. Students must follow all health and safety guidelines and all safety instructions from the tutors at all times. Workspace reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class if circumstances require it, students will be refunded if this is the case. By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
